billet interior

i bought some door sills for my 03 silverado do i bolt them on top of the original plastic door sill or do i remove it and bolt the billet door sill to the trucks floor?

bolt em to the plastic pieces...

it depends on the ones you bought, they make both, can you post a pic of them
