Ok, I have the ART upper and lower arms, and i'm having a bitch of a time getting the stock upper a-arm off. The bushing that's closest to the firewall is about 1/16" away from the exhaust manifold (see pic). How do i get that bitch off?

Try knocking the studs through the frame mount. You already have the nuts off. Then it should lift straight up.

abraham,i'm trying to do the easiest thing to get the whole arm off. I don't care if i have to take out the bushing, bolt, or sawzall the f-ing thing in half, i just want it out so i can slide the new one in. and pimpin, i don't think i have enough room between the stud and the engine to get a piece of paper, much less a hammer for the studs. Also, how would i get them back in if i did that?

00ps Didn't notice that. ^ Sorry yo

But yea knock those out, could reuse them because they have a locking clip on the backside. Or maybe the ART arms will come with new hardware. If not, you could run by and pick up some grade 8 bolt-age.
