accord motor mount

i have a 94 honda accord with the 2.2 vtec motor the motor mount on the passenger side broke then the front mount broke but the front mount broke out of the engine block braking away part of the holes. i would post a pic but not sure how. question is has this ever happened 2 anyone else and if so how can i fix it

anyone?

new motor mounts, possibly stiffer ones like the ones from hasport.com

i know i need new mounts but the front one broke the engine block where the bolts are threaded into it i am really worried about it not being repairable with out a new engine block and i just got this one rebuilt any help would be highly apprechiated

go buy a packet of easy outs or a left drilling drill bit.. it will grab the bolt and pull it out.

your block is salvagable if you dont gouge your threads all to hell, so just be carefull at what you do.. the 2 things above wont hurtthe block.. trying to drill it out with a normal drill bit, can.

i wish i had a pic 2 show but the bolts are not in the holes because the holes are half gone they completely snaped off on one side i might have 2 make a custom mount using different holes off somthing but i have looked closly and see no way 2 do that really

Had a friend that had that problem with a H22 he was doing a swap with. He had the motor out already, but he took it and had it welded back together, you might be able to get someone to TIG it in the car.

if its just the front mount ( the mount that is attached with the cheap ass meatal arm) its really not all that necessary anyhow... alot of boosted accord guys dont even run that front motor mount... im not gauranteeing you wont have more problems but i know alot of guys that dont use that mount...
