does anybody know the width of the supra independant rear end? 86.5-92 style, and the 93-98 style. i know the 4th gen car is about 2" wider than the 3rd, and they have almost the same wheel requirements, so im assuming the 4th is wider. im planning on swapping a supra rear into my ramcharger, and dont want to widen it but also dont want do have to get a super deep dish rim.

brake rotor to brake rotor is fine if thats all you have. i know some of you guys have these things, help me out. later. thanks guys.

edit (have to do it this way til the first, im out of posts)
well, im also going to be using a supra engine and tranny. dash. seats. some other stuff. thats why i want to run the rear end. and i know they are tough as hell. if for no other reason than the car is 3400-3600 lbs depending on year. plus people and such. my truck is only about 4100 lbs.

plus, fords suck. they break too easy. been there, done that. thanks though man, ill remember that for doing 4 bangers. they wont hurt it as easily. i guess.

The Ford Thunderbird had an independent rearend that would probably work better on a heavier truck like that. I do not know the width tho...Sorry

alright. new month, i can reply for reals. anyways, does anybody know the width? there arent any around here i could crawl under, even if i didnt know the owner.

i even tried asking on supraforums.com, and its full of stuck up assholes. nobody took me serious. whatever. thanks max.

so its about 59" stock, or now that you've shortened it? did you stick with the stock arms or make new ones like on mikes toyota? run into any problems using that rear end? thanks.
