I know it's hard to admit, but power brakes is not the only solution. Just about every vehicle I do, I convert to manual brakes. If for nothing else, but simplicity. MANY racecars don't use power brakes. The only difference is the pedal ratio and sometimes the master cylinder "bore." I have some pics of a 2000 F-150 that I converted to a dual master cylinder with a balance bar to clear 37's on the F-150 in my profile.
