IRS is going to give you trouble phisically mounting the bag close to the pivot. If it were me I think I would look into a bell-crank or cantilever, as many of you call them. That way you can multiply the bag travel and still mount it in a more desireable point on the arm.

If you look carefully at the '66 Chevelle in my profile, you can see how I use a bell-crank to run the coil-over out of the way of the exhaust.
