you'll be very happy...I have 2 nissans that run and a chevy that I can't keep running lol 95 is a good year as well because it has the newer dash and hood...doesn't have the canister and stuff under the bed and also 95 was the last year that the hb came without the airbag in the stearing wheel to have to unhook. Note all nissans have a tick and yes it is a good idea after 100 thousand to change the timing chain, look at it as maintenance. If a nissan has been taken care of usually your only worry is when to change the oil.
any further info check the sig.

ive also found a hardbody for a 150.00 runs and drives just been wrecked, needs a radiator support and hood, fender, but it has a hack job on the wirering under the hood, all stock is it worth the trouble?

i'm in the same boat as the thread starter, I've had my s-10 up for sell for 3 months now, selling a s-10 is like trying to sell a paperbag to a bum, but i get offered a 92 hardbody with a 95 engine and 95 interior a little beat up. only 89,000 miles which is nothing on that truck. It just needs a new bumper, windshield and some bodywork.

I was wondering besides what was stated above is there anything else I should look for on the truck. I'll check timing chain and gears on it when I go look at it.

The rear wells are gone so I don't have to look at that problem area.
