Its to easy to steal cars these days I know i have stolen prolly 100s of cars..If you want some advice how not to get your truck stolen I can give you some tips..One of the most important tips i can give you is cover the vin number up.I can walk up to any vehicle..write down the vin and get a key made for it and drive it off. Trust me its that simple. Chevys and most any late model trucks are way easy to steal, You can put the trucks in neutral in about 3 seconds..Most of the new chevys dont even have locking steering columns.If they do lock..you can break the steering pin easy by cranking on the wheel.88-99 you can use the palm of your hand while forcing the wheel to the direction you want it to turn and bang your hand on the top part of the steering wheel..and the wheel will start turning a little at a time. I can almost always unlock any vehicle..throw it in out of gear roll it out in the street and im gone. Anything with a floor shifter..Cavaliers ect..you can throw it in neutral by pulling back on the shifter between park and reverse and it will roll. My suggestion is to change your ignition out.That helps so if they cut a key it wont start the truck.I have a VATS scanner that also goes over the key and sends the signal to start a car.Another idea is if its bagged..make sure any of the power to the valves ect are only powered by the on position. Backing it in to driveways helps sometimes to..but there is always a way to get them.I got plenty of tools and shit to remove about any vehicle from almost anywhere...but thats the stuff that costs alot of money..and if there not making a profesion out of it..its not likely they will have most of these tools..But it still is open to the public to buy. Dont get me wrong by saying all this i do it by trade and i do it legaly lol so its not just for fun..Well its fun and I get a check haha
