suicide doors on the front of a 4 door civic

does anyone have any pics of suicide doors on the front of a 4 door civic, or know anyway to make the front doors suicide cause i really dont want lambos and right now thats my only option please help me

nope sorry, but I could offer an idea that I saw a cat in street source did with his chopped taco. For lack of better description, he took the hinge area of the frame and door, cut it out. then he took the latch area of the frame and door, cut that out. and swapped them!! he said that the pivot action of the stock hinges was what he wanted over the long swinging action of a suicide hinge. Do you know what you are gonna do with your rear doors because I am sure that once you suicide your front, you'll come into clearance problems. hopefully the use of the stock hinges and their mechanics would avoid that or else you'll have to suicide the rear too. Sorry couldn't offer you any sound advice. Oh yeah, if you even consider using my idea, please do something to reinforce the areas that where cut and welded (plating or roll cage) just because the engineering behind those pillars is beyond my comprehension and I always feel that if go fuckin with something some guy gets paid thousands of dollars to design so the world can use it safely, then I better make sure its done right.

thats cool im not sure if im gonna do anything yet, i would like to get some sort of idea before tryin it, if i can figure out how to do it with out the clearence problem im probally gonna do the rear in suicide also just thoughts right now but will figure something out

weld both doors together and have them open backwards, one long huge door on both sides, just dont park near anything for that matter...

thats a good idea though....I mean shit ...isnt there an S10 that has a double suicide door? that is double hinged?

there is also a 4 door civic here in ky with that already done i didnt like it

if you make a folding hinge....like a three way hinge....that would give you the clearance you needed to just open the front door suicide and keep the back closed....

I think there is something there that could be modified to work for something like that

would the that center post be strong enough for the weight of 2 doors i dont think you would be able to open both doors at the same time i dont know im drunk im not thinking now
