I have the Auto-Loc 35lbs shaved door handles and have had them for about 2+ years now. When I hit the remote, the driver side still opens good but the passenger side door is acting up on me. It is starting to open only when IT feels like it. How long should these last? Is it time to get new ones

can you hear ir trying to open everytime. I have had mine for a few years. One of the solenoid springs actually shot out of it and it still works. I spray some whit lithium grease on the spiece that slide in the housing from time to time to keep everything moving freely

the only sound that I have ever heard was the actually poping noise. But I get nothing when I hit the remote now. It does work sometimes but more times, it hasn't.

Sounds like you have a loose cable to me. WHen I first installed mine it did that off and on until the cable finished stretching. I haven't had any problems since. Been opening the door probably 10+ times a day for the last year.
