I have a 90 Mazda that I drive every day it is low but not low enough I would like to bag it but with it being a every day driver I worry about blowin a bag or line or somethin fuckin up and it leaving me stranded I would like to just get it down another inch or so but I already got it 3 1/2 in front and 4" in the rear and my concern is how bad it will ride if I take it down another inch. I am planning on notching it this winter and putting 3" leafsprings and maybe 2" blocks on the back and then 2" spindles and 2" control arms in the front would that be practical or should I just bag it and keep some spare parts laying around in case something happens.

I don't have a mini but I drive my airbagged fullsize daily and I have never had any problems. You just have to find someone who knows what they are doing. As far as static drop, i can't help ya there. Sorry

As long as the work is done right you shouldn't have any problems with it as a daily driver.

I think I am cuz I want to lay frame and bags or hydros are the only way to do it but I don't want hydros. So any advise for a first time bagger?

nope i swear by hydraulics....I kinda put it in this perspective, with juice I can see the leak and with air well there isnt always a bowl big enuff to dip my truck into soapy water. Besides my preference is towards a more industrial mad scientist look and the fact that everyone else is into air.

O.k I know a guy who has a 10 switch set-up off an S-10 everything is there he wants $75 bucks for it to me but they've been sitting for a year or so cause he bent the frame in the truck they were on and never put em on anything else since. I doubt the batteries are any good now and I was worried about the seals in the cylinders. Would it be worth my time or should I start from scratch.

sweet deal man I 'd jump on it for sure. What I have always done is buy an two extra cylinders so when a seal goes And I dont have time to fix it (which is always) I can just swap it out. Just remember that hydraulics are no different than your motor and when its been sitting awhile all you have to do is run some oil through it before you start it. The batteries might be gargbage but charge them up and see what they can do...their free it wont hurt! I would actually recommend takin the tank cover off as well as the motor and just replace all the seals period. It will give you a good idea of what you are dealing with.In fact the seal rebuild kits are so damn cheap and your're gettin the kit for nothin it will still save you major cash and will get you off to a good start.
