alright, im sorta on a budget for this. not tiny, but not thousands of dollars either. ive been looking at various cars' stock 17s and 18s. infiniti G35, maximas, dakota/durango/ram, magnum/charger/300, ect. anyways, im planning on running around a 27" tire up front and a 28" out back. which isnt huge, but taller than what i have right now (which is a good thing). here are a few pictures of the various wheels ive been thinking about.

they are all either 7, 7.5 or 8" wide as well. all except the durango/dakota/ram ones are 5 on 4.5", while the dodge truck ones are 5 on 5.5". i have the 5.5 right now, but im planning on swapping to 4.5. very easy to do on an 80s dodge truck (i have an 89 ramcharger), you swap the rotor from the first half the 80s and swap the axle from the 70s or 80s trucks. very easy. hour or 2 to do. all stock parts. anyways, let me know what you think. most the wheels are runnin for 200-300 a set, which is what im limiting myself at. tires, ill deal with. then sell my current stuff.

maxima style #1 (these are okay)

maxima style #2 (like these alot)

magnum (not a fan of chrome, so would probably pass)

G35 (I LOVE THESE)

durango/dakota/ram 18" (bigger pattern, would probably pass)

dakota/durango/ram 17" (dont want to only go to 17s, not really worth it. plus, big pattern)

300M (like these somewhat)

i havent put alot of measurements into seeing what would fit offset/backspace or lug size/style yet, because i havent decided on a style of rim. also, painting them full or partially black is an option on pretty much all of them. thanks. help me out.

well, im in need of tires right now anyways, and its not a ton more for some 18" not so low profile tires than some more low profile 15s. plus, dude, ive got 15s. thanks.

the one thing i dont like about all of them though, they have that FWD look. even though only the maximas are FWDs. anybody know what wheels would look better? 18s. something with more lip. i dont have a ton to spend. thought about redrilling some escalades but nah, dont want to do that much work for 17s.

Ford Mustangs are 5x4.5 and rangers, explorers jeep liberty etc so you may want to look into some of those. I know a lot of Mustangs have more of a deep dish and I personally think you might try to look for aftermarkets in that price range you'd be surprised.

yeah, ive been looking at aftermarket stuff too, but its alot more than i can spend. and ALOT of the mustang aftermarkets are torque thrust knockoffs. but ill check some stuff out. i know there was one stock style that was decent, and i dont care about the center cap saying ford or whatever, ill lathe new ones up. might need to enlarge the center bore anyways.

whoa, i love these, and they might fit. havent measured my backspacing in a while.
