4 inch angled blocks will lay but it will break in time with out the overload. 2 inch shackels wount help it will rise you up. The mono leaves will break in time mine did then i linked it.

i had my mono's de-arched for less than $30. Drove over 40k on the setup. it will lay and no you don't need a pan hard. Unless you're trying to put the bags on the leafs or something which will exert forces that a leaf is not designed to take. If you do a bag on axle setup then there's less force exerted on the leaf than it would see in a normally loaded configuration.

unless you got big power that would induce axle wrap i've never understood why people say this is a "hack" setup. The bags take the weight of the ride, and the leafs keep the axle located properly for a normal driven truck. they're flexible and do the job just fine.

^^^^same here i did the same thing but i heated my leaves up n put weight in the bed as i heated it up with 4" angled block drove the truck over 40k that was with 17's knock on wood never had a problem but if u have the cash go with a link set up def. don't recommend the mono but will work n no u don't need a panhard

thanks for the input

i could understand leaving low as fuck static in the rear till you get the 4 link and notch, but if you think about it, running 2 springs on the rear of the truck istn exaclty what u wana do unless your leaving the full leaf pack and adding hte bags for towing/weight purposes. the leaf springs are intended to hold the wieght of the truck not act as a "temporary" setup that will more then likely break or cause problems.

save up the cash then just 4 link it instead of wasting your time w/ a hack setup.

not to sure cause if you flip the springs and mono the axle will shift side to side just slightly so a panhard might help. just save and buy a 4 link much easier than dealing with all of that
