Need some help with lic. plate light

My brake lights, turn signals and running lights all work but the license plate light won't. I have tested the actual light and it does light up. My question is about the fuse. Do all these lights run off the same fuse? If not, what fuse would control the lic plate light.

Check the ground!

MORE THAN LIKELY A BAD GROUND.IF YOU TESTED IT BEFORE THE LIC.PLATE LAMP WENT ON THEN IT'S A BAD GROUND OR NO POWER GETTING TO THE LAMP

i hooked voltmeter and test light up and didn't get any power at all to either one.

License light should be on same circuit as running lights, so if the running lights are working but not the license light, you may have pinched a wire or broken a ground somewhere along the line. Just run a new wire from one taillight down to the license light and you'll be all set! Good luck.
