The issue with I-beam front ends is that the alignment SUCKS! You can tollerate it, but if you plan on driving it daily, I would think seriously about an A-arm front clip.

Please don't post a bunch of crap about how my friend or substitute teacher or the guy that installed my garage door opener has a bagged I-beam truck and it works great.

The I-beam front ends were an easy way to build a "burly" front suspension. Ford had enough issues with them early on that some of them came with dual shocks from the factory.

If you still want to bag it let me know and I will help keep you out of too much trouble.

...Sorry

I have a bagged mazda with the I ebams and it works great, my teachers secretary did it for me after they installed my garage door opener as a matter of fact...LOL

Hey max you never sent me the rest of the info on the spindles....LOL I know your busy though...And yes I agree I beams are horrible for not only camber, but bump steer and tire wear...not to metnion bagging them kills the bushings in the radius arms and I beams super quick....Swap it out for an A arm setup and it will be worth it in the end.

I'm SORRY! After SEMA I had to re-boot. I'll get them to you this weekend, I promise.

heres my ranger setup about halfway through

NOTE: gussets should be in between the 2x2 radius arm and the bracket that gets bolted to the I Beam that photo was taken prior to me setting the angle of the I beam

There is a ranger that is done here http://www.lowdowncustom.com/ldc.html and it works pretty well, about as well as you can get it with I-beams. I'm doing a F150 now and putting in a front chevy 1500 front frame clip under it, its deffinatly the way to go. Just depends on what your ultimate goal of the truck. Daily driving, definatly switch out the front unless u got big balla money for tires all the time. haha

i have the i beams in my explorer and they work fine

If you want to lay it out and not have so much camber with the ibeams got to ditch it and go with a new clip. If it's a mild drop you should be able to work with them.
