okay so looking at the front of my truck i noticed my lower radiator hose is directly above my front passenger frame horni can possibly cut the passenger side farther back than the drivers side(steering box in the way on the drivers side) but even then it looks like a tight fit

so what does everyone else do to get around this problem?

hey i just notched the top of the frame abit to fit it, or you can get a new tank for your rad with the outlet higher on it... hope this helps

Never had that problem....your truck should only need a 2" body drop and the tank shouldn't even come close to it....I hope your stock flooring this beotch, cause there is no need to even cut one inch of the floor for anything....and you only need to tub the wheel wells if your doing 22" or bigger.....

going with a stock floor
but right now uncut the hose is maybe one inch above the frame. like i said i think i could get by with cutting the passenger side a bit farther back and some creative massaging but just wondering what others have done

and no tubs but the firewall does need a little persuasing for clearance nothing major...and thats just with 20's and a small tire

hmmmm we're doing a 98 fullsize right now with a 2" stock floor and i am looking at the frame right now and the rad support once the front framehorns are dropped only comes in line with the top of the frame and still has clearance for the rad hose. Even with my 88 fullsize (if you check out my personal profile Jokerz2wild) we never had to modify anything and that beotch is fully loaded.....my advice to you is maybe if you have to just cope the frame out with a piece of pipe so you don't lose any structure to the frame and this way you can do the same cutting to both sides of the frame....just the passenger side will have a coped section for clearance.
