So i am driving down Raeford Rd on the right side (which i normally dont do) and all of sudden BANG BANG!!! i thought i hit someone with as violent as my truck shook. So i am hobbling to the next parking lot, and found out i had a flat. Damn, no big deal, i have a 5th rim and tire at the house. SO i get the tire and return to my truck and changed them out. AT first all i saw was a bent lip. A closer inspection revealed that i had infact cracked the rim. Enjoy... BTW, anyone know if this could possibly be fixed?

How old are the rims? I really doubt that can be fixed. And even if it was, I wouldn't trust my life with it.

How fast were you going?

unfortuantly wheel manuafures have to make a cheap wheel to stay in buisness. That sux, at least u got 6 years of enjoyment. now it will make a cool hose real!

When Cast is busted that bad its best just to move on. Most shops will not repair something that damaged.

those wheels split like that b/c they are just poured casting. 95% of wheels are made like that. American Eagle and BMW are of the few who use CPC (counter pressure casting) which makes extremely strong 1 pc wheels with excellent balance and consistancy. Its about the best you can get before solid CNC billet and about 25% of the price. Just a fyi and bash a little on KMC
