i did a search, on here and a few other sites, but didnt find the answers i needed.

anyways, i got a auto tranny for my mazda, got the tranny, torque converter, shifter, flex plate, pretty much everthing, i think, i know ima need a shorted driveline, so im just goin to get one made. do these trannys shift by the computer, or is it all hydraulic? i know the OD is electric, then there is the wires for the reverse lights, but theres a few other ones.

and i was lookin at some vac line diagrams, and theres a vac line goin from the tranny to the carb. i have a weber, so i would i hook that up?

and i was thinkin about using a aftermarket tranny cooler. will that be sufficent, or should i just go out and pick up a new rad from the autopart store?

oh yea, im stock floorin the truck right now, so i made a new crossmember. and i know its gonna be slow n shit, but i really dont care, its a mazda, there all slow with stock motors, haha

The carrier bearing for the driveshaft and the driveshaft are different. If you go with an automatic you will pay $150 for the bearing because it is dealer option only you can't get them from the parts stores.

you need the crossmember too.

The trans shifts itself, no computer needed.

yes you need the driveshaft and carrier bearing.
