Little dif paint ?

Okay we got this big tank we use to run our outboard motors in and I get the honor of scraping all the rust out of it for the next few days. It has been seriously neglected. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on what to use to paint it. It will be full of water so the paint has to be able to take being wet all the time. I tried to talk him into having it coated in bedliner but it was like $400 so that was a no go. What about that por 15. Need some ideas.

Swimming pool paint. I have no clue what to use.

That's probably not a bad idea. To obvious to think of.

I dont even know if there is such a thing as paint for swimming pools.

As for the bedliner it would have held up for a little while but after some time in the wet conditions it will start to lift in spots. I used to own a Vortex Bedliner machine.

A friend of mine does speedliner. He thought it would work but wasn't sure. I know it costs a lot to have a swimming pool painted, my wife used to work for a holiday inn.

We used to do handrails and walkways for the docks and piers around the lake here and after about 1-2 years in the sun and water the material would start to bubble and flake.

Well that would be a real world test. Have you ever used that por 15 I see people always using it on their frames?

I asked Scott and he said Por 15 would do the trick or something called Emeron. He said if you got the Por 15 on your skin that you were stuck with it until it wears off.

Hopefully it's in the price range. cheap Will it seal any pinholes in the tank?

funny thing i once came acros when surfing the net :
a guy from some wheelingforum had used bedliner on the side of his truck to make it look good after running through the bushes and all.
whell halfway through the job he recieved a call from mother nature that was too urgent to ignore ..........he forgot to take of his paincovered cloves .
now any sane person would keep shut about it and not tell ANYONE about this , he prolly had a deathwish or sumtin since he asked on the forum how to get the stuff of his weddingtackle , lets just say that i had to read through all the 14 pages just to see wat the others would say......there was a solution at the end.
the only way to get that stuff of youre skin is to let that part of youre skin sweat if you have it on youre hands get some doctorscloves on and put some mits over that after a while the pores will open and the sweat will push the stuff off along with some atadged skincells .
