Ok, so i'm asking a dumb question.. Every where I look they always have drop kits for 00/06 tahoe/yukon but I never see any for my 97. Do they use the same drop kits as the 88-98 Chevy/GMC fullsize. And yes, mine is a 2wd 4door.

I did a friends 97 tahoe a few months back. We used bell tech stuff its the same as the trucks 4-6. But for the back it uses a flip kit wich lowers it 6 inches. And a front spring hanger to lift the rear back up 2 inches wich lowers it 4-4 Cause a 6 inch drop is to much.

yea, somehow it sits less than an inch lower in the back for some reason. Don't know if it comes stock like that but I was going for the 4-4 also. I was just going to do hanger/shackle thing in the rear and maybe spindle/spring in front. Or would a control arm drop in front be better?
