yeah 600/1000 is the same as 6/10.

one thousandth of an inch (.001) is defined as a MIL, which is also the same as 2.54 X 10^-3 cm

.006 is like 6 human hairs
.06 is basically a 1/16
.6 is almost 5/8

hope that helps

yeah i think people got confused when he said 600/1000 instead of 6/10 or .6

that sounds about right because I milled 1/8th off of my GMC's. i put my escalades on and they stuck out a lot further.

5/8th is a lot. I dont even know if you have enough metal for that. you may have to re-countersink the lug holes

600/1000 is what the machine shop took out of the center bore to clear the hubs. you can call it what ever you want but a machine shop is going to measure it in 1000ths

I HAD A GUY DO MY ESCALADES BUT HE NEVER TOLD ME HOW MUCH HE TOOK OFF AND I CANT GET A HOLD OF HIM. THE SIDEWALLS OF MY TIRES JUST BARELY RUB THE INSIDE OF THE BED ARCHES AND I JUST DONT WANT TO RUN INTO THE SAME PROBLEM.(MOUNTING AND UNMOUNTING AND REMOUNTING TIRES) SO I GUES 6/10 IS THE GOING RATE THEN....
