WELL SINCE NO ONE HAS EVER REPLACED A HEATER CORE IN A DODGE i WILL TELL YOU IT INVOLVES DROPPING THE STEARING COLUM REMOVING THE DASH DISCONECTING THE AC AND DROPPING THE HEATER UNIT OUT TOOK ABOUT ONE DAY TO GET TO THE HEATER CORE AND ABOUT A HALF A DAY TO PUT IT ALL BACK.

Dude that sucks!!I had to replace mine in my 89 chevy fullsize and it wasn't near that difficult. I used a crescent wrench to disconnect the lines at the firewall and then pulled the plastic housing off that is under the dash and unclipped the core pulled it out and put the new one in clamped the housing shut and connect the lines and fill her up! Man i love dodge trucks but that has to suck. Mine took me all of about an hour. Now days they have to make things so freakin difficult it sucks! Well at least you got it fixed. I feel for you. Car makers have some really bad ideas now days. Later
