Here is one I was doing as a render test. Trying to imporve my rendering skills. What are you guys thoughts on this type of rendering. I could do a studio type render as well.

if you created that 3d rendering that i'm looking at then i am very impressed.... what did you use to get all the measurments?

Yes it is all 3d, that is why I posted the clay looking render. Its the same truck just textured and rendered. Here is another one of the same truck.

me and brian were talkin about this a while back

instead of having a print of a rendering.. if we could do em 3d and have em like in a flash file spinning and showing off everything on a big lcd at a show next to your WIP instead of jus the print

looks good for 3d

Looks killer but with the time that it takes to do a 3D rendering, someone better be willing to shell out $400+ for it. They look killer when done though, but I guess if you are building a 60k++ showcar it would be a good investment for sponsors but for the average home built ride thats alot of money.

I use Lightwave and render in FPRIME so I can get the render times down to under 10 minutes on a finish render. The red version is striaght out of the renderer. There is no photoshop compositing in that one. The custom paint one I just did in photoshop. I have more coming so if anyone wants a 07 chevy let me know?
