what kind of shocks do you guys use, or do you not have any? Is there a bag that is stiff enough to where you don't need shocks or whats the deal?

very rarley do I wish i had shocks in the front. I use a contitect 2500 up front. Slams are a lot stiffer. My buddy has slams on the front of his hard body and it rides really nice.

sometimes its not just about the ride though, shocks keep your wheel from leaving the ground and that in turn keeps you from wearing weird cupped spots in your tires or losing control on bumps. If you have ever driven next to a truck with no shocks you will notice the wheel jumping and jittering over every little bump.

Almost anything gas charged and made for a front of a truck will work, I got a couple sets of brand new monroes on ebay for 12 bucks a pair,I have heard of people using old bug shocks because they are short.

HEY BLITCH, MY F150 HAS SLAMS IN THE FRONT WITHOUT SHOCKS AND IT RIDES FINE.

You can get shocks off a '65 VW Beetle. They are short, and are the dual eye type. I have Doetsch Tech shocks. They are supposed to be pretty firm and make for a nice ride. They are quality shocks.
