i just got new set of uppers made for my dak. that problem is i still need more camber. which is smarter to do. Cut the arms shorter and weld back together?(they are adjustables but already cranked all the way down) or should i make new mounts to where it will let the mounts sit back farther to pull the wheel in?

i had 18's that barely fit in the fenders. now i have 20's it has a 5in Bodydrop the fire wall is already tubbed for 22's but when layed out the 20's actually sit against the fenders. so when layed out they flex out my fenders. so i bought the arms to pull some camber but didn't give me enough.

If you add it up a lot of tires cost more than new wheels.If you cut your arms your tires are done.

heres my sugestion if your set on your wheels. shorten your uppers, then shorten your lowers the exact same amount as you do the uppers. then shoren your tierods if there isnt enough adjustment by cranking them in. that way your geometry stays the same. all you loose is a little bit of lift but shouldnt be enough to affect you unless you are already bearly clearing the fenders locked up to turn.

yeah the lift is tight now. is there any shops that can shave the back of the rim that bolts to the hub down some to where it will sit in closer?

all machine shops are able to shave the back of the mounting pad its just finding one that will actually do it thats tough. they are usually scared of the liability involved
