ok i am getting ready to put my lil 2.2 motor back in my isuzu pick up and i have taken off the ac and all the lines and a few other thing but there is alot of shit that mounts to the fender wells and i want to know what has to stay and what can go. so if anyone has some pics or addvice it would be greatly appreciated. thanks all

since you say you have a 2.2l, im guessing its an hombre which is identical to an s-10. ppl know some shit bout s-10s so you might get better results if you say its an hombre, not just an isuzu

yea i guess it would be just like the older body s-10 and it is a 90 model.

sorry i was mistaken it is a 2.3L

well if thats the case, its a true isuzu. no stinking s-10 there! anyways, if its carbed, your best bet is to get a weber carb and ditch EVERYTHING! with that carb, you'll need like 1 vacuum line to the distributor and thats it. the elctrical can just be re-routed. it'll take a while to do it right, but its definately worth it. on my 86, i used a gm 1-wire alternator which eliminates a lot of elecrical crap too.

so a weber carb will get rid of all them freakin vac lines? and when you say electrical can be moved. are you talking about the main harness? and if so did you relocate it to inside the cab? and what kind of belt did that 1 wire alternator use? thanks dylan
