I'm bagging a burban for a customer and he has like a 40 gallon tank in it. I'm sure that most burbans had a normal size tank, anyone know if it is high enough to have a bagged ride without raising it? The one in this one hangs down a good 6" past the body. Hell its bigger than the one in my dually.

mine hangs about 4" below the roll pan so i fab another pan to go around it. it really sucks to work around but theres just not alot to do with it because of the depth of the fuel pump and the way the body lays on the frame. i thought that i might be able to use a tahoe side tank but the well for the rear seat hangs so low that the tank would be settin below the frame in front of the axle. any way u go it sux!!!

I may have to just raise this one up some. Figure a way to hold it again.

I just got a fuel tank out of a blazer. I believe that it is about a 17 gallon tank. It works great. It will still hit the ground of you air the front up w/out air the back up. I think using the smaller tank is alot easier then raising the factory tank.

In my suburban I had to have it cut and resealed. After the seal broke I had a fuel cell made to go in place of it. It holds about 1/2 of the capacity as the original one I had.

Phil I've done a couple, we have one in the shop right now if you want to come by and take a look at it. Give me a call monday morning if you like. How is the ford coming along? We raise the tank probably about 7 inches. 512-809-1854
