I need to keep the stock location of the fuel tank. What is the best link setup for this but still have bags on the bars. I want all forward bars. I have narrowed it down to canilevered bars in the rear or a half wishbone tri link above the exhaust.

I have a few ideas im messing around with but...they're for a Toyota. Think the same logic could be applied for just about anything.

There is plenty of room to do a quality link system without moving the gas tank. The way we do it is with a 3-link and a pan-hard bar or watts-link. The lower bars are run on the outside of the frame, off of the original front spring hanger and the upper bar runs on the pass side to the exhaust/gas tank crossmember. The frame will have to be notched to clear the bags, but it works out great. I don't have any pics, but it is quite possible. Good luck.

The KP kit is awesome, Ive had mine for nearly 2 years and no complaints. The only thing ive done is swap out the panhard bar for the watts link.
