There are many posts on this topic if you look around, but yes the toyota rearend will work great on your mazda. It is really nice because you will be able to choose from a much bigger assortment of rims that will tuck and you will be limited to the rims you can tuck with the 6 lug pattern because of the off set. If I could find a decent toyota rearend around here I would deffinately buy it if the price was right!

Toyota rear ends are more narrow than mazda by quite a bit, U might need to narrow your frame depending on the wheels you plan on running. The mazda I am doing right now I narrowed the rear feame 4 inches overall. As for the front make plates for the upper and lower arms, trim out where needed and weld them to the mazda arms and you r done, just make sure you get them square in the arms. As for the tie rod you will have to cut and weld the mazda female side to the toyata tie rod( fter you cut them both down. I got the mazda front done in about 4 hours or so, not to hard. They also make 2" drop spindles for toyota's.

I am building a mazda with toyota suspension and with a 20x8 +43 offset they just barley clear the fenders. A 34 offset probably will rub unless you narrow the front arms, then u will limit your lift.
