..top chopping question.

Is it possible to chop the top on a crew cab truck, 2 inches, and keep most of the glass, just not roll them up all the way, and also is it possible to slope the front glass so you can keep all the original glass. I was looking at the rear glass on a dually like mine and the way it sits you can bring it down about 2 inches and then it will be in line with the side glass, anyone have any experience with this or any pics?

I seen ifcustoms do it with stock glass(in magazines, I'm a shut in). You have to widen the A pillars but with a 2" I don't think it would look to bad.

Yes, you can chop a crew cab, and yes you can keep the stock glass all the way around, just need to make sure your cuts are exactly where they need to be, your chop needs to work with and around your glass, not the other way around. Most late model trucks are relatively simple, but by no means an easy task, if you know what I mean. I chopped the top on my dime 2" not too long ago. see, now this is why i like this site, there is always someone with an answer, and ready to help, appreciate that doordragr. I am not sure if i will be going that route on my dually, but there is one in the shop mine is in that this might be done to it, and now that i know it can be done using the same glass, then we might just bust out some cutting tools.
