ya, totally a tablet.... all they did is draw up several designs on a piece of paper, then lay'd it on the tablet and traced the hell out of it. still very time consuming to sit there and film that shit though. i'm impressed

there's also one that someone did a Camaro look-alike car in MSpaint done the same way. and also a drawing of a woman where they went from nude drawing then started adding layers of clothing untill it was finished. not sure if it was on here that i got the link, but i know the vid's on Myspace someplace.

I remember that woman one about a year or so ago. That was definitely cool. I saw it as a link over at DPR.

your going to be lookin at a couple hundred buck minimum unless you want one that's 4x5 for $100... about a waste of time and money if you ask me, you need a much larger one to do anything productive. at least the size of you monitor but bigger is better, it's all on your budget. there was one that i liked a lot by wacom that enduced a static charge to the tablet and made any paper you layed on it stick like glue, so you could trace your paper drawings much easier. they also have plastic covers you can lay over em to hold your paper down but the plastic adds too much thickness to it and makes it harder to get accurate drawings. here's the one and only place your going to want to get one, any other brand would be a joke.... wacom tablets...
