if you can get the 4 prong trany plug from a junkyard you can wire it in to a on off switch but you have to rember to turn it off in town or went you come to a full stop and if you got the right brakelight switch you can wire it to shut off when you stop the two wires comming from that tranny plug are a ground and a hot thats a cheap way of doing it

theirs a kit out their that does away with all the wiring in the pan

its a valve with different valleys in it and it comes with a few different springs so that u can make it lock up at whatever speed you want it to
and u put a check ball on that valve thing that goes into the front pump

i have the box for the kit but i have to find it, and i'll post the brand and part number when i find it

oh yeah, the kit is about 50 bucks

basically non-computer 700r4s are locked at all times when power is supplied to the red wire on the 4 prong plug, ground the black wire in the plug (only 2 wires in plug) the lock up runs off pressure inside the trans so an easy swap is to get a brake switch with cruise control and run a key on hot wire in the cruise side and then to red wire this will let the lock up shut off when the brake is applied

i think haywire makes a cheaper kit
