i've been thinkin about wheel choices... i wanna use American Racing Torq Thrusts with the 6 lug setup... but on the site they say they are only in 20's. i'm gonna eventually run trailer fenders under the hood, and smooth everything out... will it be a problem if i'm doing a 3" stock floor bodydrop, and wanting to keep my air conditioner? i don't wanna give anything up in order to run those rims...

I'm almost positive a 20x8.5 with a +30mm offset wont tuck at all. I didn't see a option for a custom offset on that wheel(even if they did i think 8.5 is to wide). If you want to run that wheel, sadly, you need to get a full size chevy.

or a full size ford

whats the offset on those if they are not pos 45 then they are not gonna work. the ac shouldn't be a problem just gonna have to mod the blower fan position. the trailer fenders might not work witht he 20. on both the mazdas i bd with 20s the wheels came up and into the fenders!!!!!!

a 20x8.5 is not too wide that width will def work.

but would i be able to tuck then with a 3" sfbd while retaining a/c?

not unless the wheels have a positive 45 offset which he stated b4 they are only 30. i dunno if he is right or not but if they are pos 30 they will def not work

what i'm asking is... if i were to do a 3" sfbd, would i be able to run the 20's if i wanted to keep the a/c? can i keep a/c while runnin 20's?

yes it's been done.

but if u use those wheels you're looking at, you wouldn't have any fenders

on a 8.5 wide you would need more than +45 to tuck, closer to +55. With a body drop you would need even a bit more because the bedsides would hit your tire with less.
