doug is a super nice guy. and they did decent work, i just wish they would have taken time to do quite a few things better than they did.
busted an airline on the way home after picking my truck up!!
Doug did send me some new airline ASAP though! hehe

and the very next day after i seen these pix i fired the person who did all that mess... there in no sense in such work, true i should have checked it out, but i trusted the person who done this and all work after this has ether been done by me or i have gone over work, such work was unsafe and if i had known about half the problems with this vehicle it wouldnt have left my shop.

zander the red ranger was owned by a guy in warner robins. it was in such bad shape when he got it back it got scraped.

looking at such work and knowing it came from my place makes me almost sick to my stomach, i do not expect customers to pay for work like that, and i didnt know anything about the xmembers til the customer already had it on the trailer and he pointed it out to me, and said he and his buddies will fix it... when we drove it the person (same as the one who did this) noted that all was fine, drove fine and everything, i thought all was well, let the customer drive it and he tells me all this other stuff is wrong (again i admit, i should have looked everything over i know) but when you tell someone to weld up something and there up under welding you assume (which did make an ass out of me) that there welding what you tell them to... again after i seen this i couldnt in my contious make someone pay for shit like that.. and the person who did it was dealt with acordingly, my shop is a good fab shop and problems like this are no longer an issue

At least you admit this is shoddy work. I would say please watch what rolls outta your shop. I would tell anybody who runs a shop the same advice. Just like i heard someone say the other day do you think boyd coddington, chip foose, alan johnson, or anyone who is a bigger name in the automotive industry isnt inspecting the vehicles rolling out of their shop? I am just a shit person and i dont want you to take this as a lecture cause thats not my place to do so. Just think about that before you end up in the brawl room one day getting bashed left and right for work like this!

Awesome reply Doug. It's nice to see a standup shop be able to explain and provide reasoning. In my book, thats a good thing. Please dont think I was calling you out personally, just posting something I saw, and was by no means slamming you or the shop.
