I know, I know! This has been mentioned a hundred times I am sure! But I have to do this for my own personal gratification....

I got my ragtop today, and when we first met the butterflies tingled in my tummy! A couple of minutes went by and we began to disagree with eachother and started a fight! When it was all said and done I had to drag what seemed like the whole toolbox into the living room, and take a trip across the yard wearing my g/f's Jellies(crocks) in the snow to the neighbors Mike & Dave (Visions), JUST to see how the damn thing worked! The main problem was that the handle mechanism was put together way to fast and ended up being way to loose. And I got the headliner option to go with the rag and because the had pre-installed it (nice of them) the extra material caused the rag to stop sliding...therefore not opening all the way!

Well, I have said enough and I am through venting! All in all the Ragtops by StreetBeatCustoms.com are not that bad and it just took awhile to work out the bugs before our relationship could begin....

OH! AND BY THE WAY FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT KNOW I BROKE MY ARM RECENTLY AND THAT MADE THIS ALL THE WORSE, CAUSE I HAVE ONE BUM-ASS ARM!

I actually don't know what they are like! I haven't even started the install and frankly I am a little intimidated! I will let all know how it is when the final product is achieved!

I saw his girlfriends jellies, and he's not kidding..... I've never dealt with the streetbeat rags before, and they seem kinda chinsey to me. Did dev just get a bad one? Is everyone happy with the quality?

They are kinda chinsey but they do look good even though they dont open all the way up.And they dont latch well and basically everything people have said about them was true. Too bad I had already ordered mine before I read the posts. Then you get it and start putting it in hoping yours will be perfect and have none of those issues. But once you have a damn whole in your roof what other choice do you have besides cuttin the whole top off!

All the above is true and as with all the other posts on here they are chinsey the locking part sucks they don't open all the way 99.9% of them leak Ect. Ect. but man there is nothing nicer than crusing on a summer night (or day) with that thing open and the stereo bumping. With a little modification the handle will work better
and lock better. But you would think with all the people who have bought one and complained streetbeat would improve there design.

Glad I sold mine before I tried to put it in.
