I have firestone F9000 sleeves on the back of my nissan hardbody. I was wondering what brand I should use in the front. I know that I am going to use a 2500lb or equivalent.

Should I use firestone to keep the ride pretty consistent from front to back or just use slams? I would think that the slams might ride a little too stiff considering how soft the sleeve bags are out back.

Firestone has a newer bag pn. 267c that directly replaces the 255c. Either one would work well on the front of your truck. If you plan on running more than 150 psi use the 267c it is a heavy duty version of the 255c.

nothing wrong with firestones, but Id go with Slams, im in love with them

I know the slams ride great with them on all four corners but what about just the front with F9000 in the rear?
Anybody think the slams would be too stiff in the front compared to the sleeves in the back?

if you run shocks on the rear and not the front, theyd probably be about equal.

i dont advocate not running shocks, but a lot of ppl dont. ive done it and didnt see anything wrong until i put shocks on the front. what a world of difference.

I am definitely going to run shocks on all 4 corners.

honestly, id still run slams in the front. run cheapo (monroe, gabriel...the $10-15 ones) gas shocks on the front. if you run "drop shocks", those things are stiff as shit and, to me, kill the ride quality.

im gonna run slams on the front of my pup and probably stick with the 2600 stones on the bars in the rear. different setup, but rides about the same.

also, about how much lift do you get in the rear with the f9000s? thinking about running them on my next ride. (old car)

I am not positive but I think I get 7-9"
Nothing special, but I wasn't looking for a lot of lift.

right on man. i do this to be low, need it to be off the ground and ride well thats all. i dont wanna hack up the floor pan on this car im getting, and think sleeves over axle would be a good setup. just dont wanna be stuck with like 5" total lift to get over those pesky speed bumps or drain culverts.
