I agree with Bio. If you have the time and skill, a 4 link is a much better option. One difference between leaf springs and a 4-link is that in some cases, the leaf springs will still support some of the weight of the vehicle. Ultimately with the bags over the axle, the bags will actually be under less stress, and will take less pressure to get to ride height. UNLESS, the leaf spring is totally flattened or so many leafs are removed that it has no spring left to it. Ive bagged FWD minivans with leaf springs in the rear, so Ive had to dearch the leaf about 6 inches to get the drop, and using 2500's can get the rear up very easily. The leaf is still loaded just cant support all the weight. The bag acts as a helper to bring it back up.
