Ford Ranger Gauges?

I have a 95 splash and I'd like it if it had the factory tach in it. Just wondering if I were to put in a factory gauge cluster from a vehicle with a tach if it would work? I'm not sure why it doesnt have a tach because its a 5-speed but would a cluster from like an explorer work? And would you think the tach is allready wired up so I can plug in the new cluster? Has anybody done this?

one from an Explorer would work or one from a Ranger would work. just go to a junkyard and find you one. wont be that much.
