does anybody make a coversion kit to turn my 99 taco rear drums into discs??..or does anyone know of a cheap way of doing this? oh by the way, i have a 89 toyota rear end, don't know it that really matters, all of the brake stuff still looks the same, please help!! thanks WES

I think the Supra stuff is pretty easy to retro-fit. You would just have to build a bracket to hold the caliper and the parts can be found in a junk yard.

I used 84-86 Mustang SVO rear rotors on mine. Same bolt pattern, and under $20 each new. And I got front calipers from a 79 Monte Carlo. They were $40 each loaded with pads and no core exchange. I just made my own brackets.Under $150. Rear drum rebuild kit was $120.

I don't want to make brackets for anyone. I might send the templates to Joel and see if he wants to laser cut them and sell them though.

there are many companies that sell a conversion kit. they are all expensive though. downeyoffroad, TRD both sell kits. the cheapest way is to find you some junk yard rotors and junk yard calipers and make sure you get something that your stock lines will adapt to. it took me a minute to figure out what worked. you do the math. just take your time and dont be scared.
