How are you using the hoist to take the cab on and off. I thought I could use mine to do the same but couldn't find a way that it worked

I jacked my whole truck way up in the air, put jack stands onder the body, then unbolted the frame and let it down. then i rolled the frame from under it, and built a stand for the body, and rolled it out of the way so i could work on my frame. poor mans gotta do what a poor mans gotta do.

i used a buddy and then set the cab on some 4x4s... then i used some scissor jacks to align the floorpan in the cab. mines traditional though

Hell, I just used the boom lift on my grandpas rig and picked the body up with a chain through the ragtop! I think thats about as original of an idea as anyone can get

orrr buy a 30 pack. ( roughly 15 bucks) and get like 3 friends to come over and help you and let em drink haha
