the truck i am building is a factory 3500 single wheel crew cab. i am currently running dually adapters front and rear with neeper wheels. i am about to start a stock floor bodydrop, and want to order my semis. is there a special adapter i will need to run fro single wheel 8 lug to 10 lug semi, or will i have to run 2 adapers? i dont think 2 adapters will be strong. what do you guys think? later, bgboy

i wouldnt run 2 adapters on the front but what you can do is go and find you a 1 ton dually and get the front hub off of it that has the factory 8 bolt pattern on it then you can mount that up on your spindels then you can run the8-10 lug adapter for the front for your semi's that would be what i do. does anybody know of another way ...

I'm alittle confused on the question.... and the 3/4 tons and 1 tons all are 8 lug, so I thought....

i questioned it also..but some 3500 came with a 8 lug but it does not have the extended hub like our duallys do ...

it is 8 lug, i know that on the front, my spindles are the same as the dually spindle and all i need to do is change the rotors, and run the 10 lug adapter. but the rear end is different in the aspect that the adapter that i have to run to use dually wheels is almost 4 inches wide on each side. without the adapter, the wheels wouldnt fit, as they hit the leaf springs. i want to run semis(10 lug) and not sure how far out the adapter puts the wheels for my rearend. sorry for the confusion. later, bgboy

You can keep the same front hubs, you just need the 8lug to 10lug adapters, some people swap the 1ton hubs for the 3/4ton hubs because it will let the wheels sit farther in a bit and help with clearance issues when body dropped..... the rear is a different story

ok I'm up to speed now

you should beable to run your rear with out the dually adapters and if I'm thinking right it will bringyour wheels in closer to the center so you won't need to narrow your rear or widen your fenders to make the rear dualls tuck up in the body
