i have a ? for you yota owners i just bought a yota rear end for mazda but i cant get the drum off of it am i doing something wrong i bought it from a junkyard about a two month ago i have tried ever thing to get that drum off help please

Heat it up, big fuckin hammer. Or cut it off and put discs on.

A slide bar hammer will work wonders on it, also soak it around the hub and lugs with PB blaster or WD40 for a while.

big ass hammer and keep hitting oposite sides. i broke both of mine b4 they came off but eventually they did

i don't know about all years, but on mine there's 2 threaded holes on the drum itself near the middle. put 2 bolts in them (12mm heads) and tighten them down a little on each side. they bottom out on the axle & push the drum off.

also there should be a little hole on the backside and you can put a screwdriver in there back off the shoes but its prolly just rusted on there so if your going to replace it then heat is ok but if you want to resuse then just a hand held sledge and a few taps on each side should get it off
