Trying to find a name of a bolt.

Im looking for this bolt but I dont know the exact name of it. The best explanation I have is the bolt is hollow with threads on inside where another standard bolt can thread into it. I cant find anything like a "hollow bolt". Can anyone help me out.

Helicoil? However, helicoils are primarily used for thread repair for stripped out threads.

i know what your talking about but i have no idea on the name its like a female bolt where that cylindrical bolt fits in a hole tight and the other side a bolt goes into it right. not sure on the name

you talking about a spacer bolt? to make a smaller bolt fit into a larger hole?

nope hes talkin about a 2 pc bolt one goes in one side that has female threads and the other bolt is a male thread

I believe it is considered an "internal thread bolt"

There are several different types of internal thread bolts, but they are all just like the standard external type just with the "internal thread" call out.
