i've been trying to figure out where the best place is to put the clip on my truck. i don't actually have the clip in front of me, it won't be here until wed.

i have been looking at the tech articles on minitruckinweb.com and in the articles where they are bagging toyota trucks they either have to z the frame or move the control arm mounts up an inch so that they can clear crossmembers (i'm assuming similar to the 98 rangers).

my truck is bodydropped 4 inches and will have a 302 in it if i can find an affordable donor. i would like to keep from cutting the hood as much as possible. my tire setup right now is 225 40 18 on a 7inch rim w/ 5.5 inches of backspacing.

i have been looking at the profiles in search of pictures of these suspensions setup on the truck, but have found mostly completely assembled images from under the hood.

any help would be appreciated, i'm not sure if i should line up the top of the 2 frames or the bottoms or what. i will have some more detailed questions when i have the clip in front of me i'm sure.

i would set it up so the crossmembers even w/ the bottom of the rockers so you wont have to raise it any higher.

would that give enough room for full drop? does the crossmember sit even with the frame on the yotas after they are z/d? or is it higher up?

yotas will lay the crossmember flat on the ground. i always like to set my frames up so that they sit 1/2 off the ground. that way when you air out, everything lays nice and hard on the ground.
