Well i am about to start shaving the stuff on my truck, and on the bed, i was wondering what be be the best way to mold the tailight fillers and roll pan to the fiberglass on the bed,there was a topic on this somewhere, but i cant find it any help would be appreciated, thanks

what you could do is take masking tape and tape your taillights and make a fiberglass mold of them then glass that mold to your bed. either wiith or without the original tailights bolted in. if dont properly with the rght materials you shouldnt have any cracking and it should last as long as your truck is around.

its a bad idea to leave your stock tail lights in there and glass over them i had a retard do mine and he messed them up bad i would just do the mold with the tape and reinforce it and go that way plus with the temp changes fiberglass to the metal it will crack out.

tape your stock tails, glass them and fit that to the truck. I mean without the taillight, just the mold you made. glass it onto the truck, then do your body work.

im having the same delima on an 02' stepside plastic/? bed. i know ive dunn the mold idea (mentioned above) on a fiberglass bed, jus keep the bondo thickness to a minimun if possible, but the plastic thing is baffling me...

i dont want to stomp his thread but i heard a local guy here used a plastic trashcan (the big green ones used for city purposes)and sum 2 part epoxy. still looking into it.
