i heard that Bluebear works at Foose as well. So far, it's been Charlie, Mike (his jaw is messed up because his faced was pretty much crushed in a car accident), Bluebear, Scott, i think the guy they called Beetle Bailey that worked with Charlie is there as well. the majority of the Overhaulin cars aren't finished when they reveal them to the owners, so they're finished up at another shop.

but see were talkin about 2 different people. boyd builds hotrods and most of the time he sends the cars out to get the bodys done. and he does the frames and paint and all that but the body isnt from boyd. chip foose does everythign all the mods on the bods frames whatever chip foose is the best car builder out there everythign hes built i love and boyd is just like occ there dicks on tv but in preson there prolly cool

those cars on overhaulin look pretty done to me. it looks like boyd does everything in house as well. not the interior. however u spell it. in person they sort of have to be cool to get more customers. i dont know id like to meet them all. jesse james would be the man though. heard his basci bike was 10k where occ is 100k. also said he would give a working man a better deal on a bik then anyone.

back in the day when Chip worked for Boyd, Boys was a cool dude, he accually got out in the shop and built some pretty bad ass cars, now u see him on tv and hes just a dick to everyone, i mean whats up with that, i wouldnt wanna work with him either if he was gonna be like thatAnd chip is such a nice guy ive met him a few times and i remember 1 time at a car show someone was doing an interview with him and asked him about his popularity and if it has become a problem, and he said no im just still another guy building hot rods, i dont think of myself as a celebrity, im just another 1 of them, that i thought that was really cool.

and when u see boyd on tv, when dose he ever go and work on a car?? never.... he makes all of his shop bitches do all of his work, and once in a while he will come out and yell at someone, and thats about it, its not really a coddington car is he dosent help build it....

Family friend of ours was the guy who presented Boyd w/ his first major trophy back in the day when he wasn't known at all. It was a 32 ford go figure and he said back then Boyd was a great guy and he spent a few hours goin up and down the rows of cars lookin at them and talkin bout building and such, but he even said now Boyd has changed and the money has gotten to him and he's a dick.

Personally, I think Dwayne is one of the biggest problems at Boyd's shop. If he talked to me the way he talks to his crew, I would've beaten the hell outta him long ago.

Like everyone else said, it's easier to see who the better shop owner is just by watching them. It's real easy to stand there and belittle your fabricators when they make a mistake, or misunderstand your rantings. I takes another kind of person to actually take the time and effort to get in and actually work with your fabricators and listening to their input when needed.

Wait a second, didn't one of them go bankrupt once already? That should say enough about that person's business practices.

It as all well metting a nice guy in person but u sound like you want to have a few beers with chip. I think most people will agree that half of the guys just jumped ship when they found out a new show was being aired over at chips place and the only true employees like roy stud there ground in connection to there jobs, sure will miss roy and boyd rip. I think what charlie done was abit of a blow below the belt, I mean u take a guy on and when he gets confident he jumps ship, mike used to write boyde letters begging him to let him work there and as soon as he got an offer else were he jumped ship to and only because he was on T.V or the job offers would nver have came in which I think peiople should look at more.
