What up guys...Any mma fans out there? So what are your guys predictions for the outcome of this fight? I'm a Liddell fan and see him taking this one.
IF Tito can get it on the ground, I think he has a chance, but ofcourse, we have seen Chuck's takedown defense in the past, and also he is one of the best sprawlers that gets right back up if he is taken down. Although Tito has fought and has trained this whole year, I don't see him taken out Liddell, who is not no Forrest, which Forrest had that fight won in the 2nd and 3rd round and he is no Ken Shamrock, a man that was dominant during his prime, but not during his old age.
Let's weigh some fighting styles out: Liddell is a far more powerful and better striker that has better ko power than Tito. As said above, Liddell has one of the best takedown defenses, and we saw that against Horn, a dynamic and technical ground fighter who had never been knocked out by anyone leading up to his fight against Liddell, with a record of 84 wins with 14 losses. Also, Liddell beat the Hall of Famer,Randy Couture, a legendary wrestler who although got Liddell down on the ground during the fights, witnessed Liddell's ko power and his sprawling.
Tito, obviously, is a ground and pound fighter, not the lay and pray type. Although he stood up with recent fighters such as Shamrock, Forrest, and the 2000 bout with one of the best strikers in MMA, Wanderlei Silva, he needs to take this fight to the ground. Tito deserves all the respect in having the ability to finish guys on the ground, but Forrest Griffin, a man that is not on Chuck Liddell's takedown defense, exposed Tito's weakness at taking good fighters on the ground.
Anyways, I will shup up now, as I could continue writing. Let's hear yall's thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Liddell by KO biatchessssssss!!!!!!!
