well i suppose my question is what do i need to buy or what can i modify to make this happen? im not worried about relocating the break booster or steering colum. not worried about the petal relocation or rewiering. just what do i do with the steering rack or whatever. i suppose ill use the stock steering coulum.

any input is appriciated.

I'm kind of scared seeing that you don't even know what kind of steering setup is on your truck, "steering rack or whatever". Also if you have everything else figured out you shouldn't have a problem figuring the steering part out, "im not worried about relocating the break booster or steering colum. not worried about the petal relocation or rewiering." This is a pretty big modification to do so I wouldn't take it so lightly. Now that I am done busting your balls.......I changed mine to a rack and pinion and used an aftermarket column, linkage, pedals, and wiring. I had to make a new crossmember to hold my rack and also had to notch out the frame a little for the steering linkage to pass by. I used my stock outter tie rods and cut the threads off the inner tie rods and tig welded them to my rack ends. I did that so I could use the stock adjusters and not have to machine a new adjuster with 2 different threads in it. Also the rack was to wide so I had to shorten it a little anyway. Hope this helps out, good luck!
