2wd s10 lift ?

ok a buddy of mine has a 2wd s10 and wants to lift the front not a whole lot but mabe 3-4 inchs and the rear also it is the older s10 the square ones he found som elift springs for it but wants to know if there is any other way and also on the rear it need a flip kit so put the axle over the springs .... i told him on the rear he could use a add a leaf but im gonna see if any one else knows some tricks

I believe most gm donks use a fabtech lift spindle for S-10's. Not sure how much they cost though so im not that big of a help
