hey im lookin for someone who has bagged an s10 on 20s....my bro n law wants to do his and hes not gonna body drop it, just wants it to lay.

whats all the tedious things that have to be done under the hood? im sure he needs a 2" drop spindle and cut out the fenderwalls, will the computer need to me moved? will the booster need to be changed or relocated? anything else that i may have forgotton? thanx for the info

to lay frame on 20s u gotta do the following: dehump the stock lowers or buy aftermarket lowers, piecut the upper arms or buy aftermarket uppers, tub firewall, build new sheetmetal blowerbox if ur keeping ur heat/ac, relocate fuseblock and computer, move where the wiring harness comes through the driver side up. go with a jm5 booster or 7", some people get by without having to change it, just depends on ur wheels, notch for ur tierods. its really not all the hard

I think SSM needs to make a "sticky" for this subject.Yes you will need the 2" drop spindles. Most people relocate the computer, fuse relay center. Of course the inner fenders will need to be removed as well as the ABS box or you can just relocate it. That also leaves the resevoir for the radiator which I just simply removed but some people relocate it. And finally but not forgotten you will more then likely also need to notch the firewall just slighty. Hpe this helps some.

I got an Isuzu hombre, but the only difference between the 2 is the frame width and front end. I have 17's and a 215/35 tire and I had to take out my wells, I got a new overflow, relocated my computer and removed my abs module, and I had to reinforce the battery box. And Im sittin on my ac on the passenger side but thats no big problem for now
